Profile:
A privately owned pharmaceutical organisation is seeking 2 permanent Statistical Programmers to join their Medical Data Services team in Southern Germany.
With a healthy product pipeline and several of their trials within Diabetes and Oncology in Phase III, this company are experiencing great prospects now and in the future.
Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Head of Statistical Programming you will be responsible for all programming aspects (analysis datasets, pooled datasets, listings and
tables) of Phase I-IV clinical trials within your remit. You will lead programming activities under the supervision of the Project Statistician, develop resource plans with support of group head, participate in selection of CRO's and supervise trial activities of the third parties. You will also maintain efficient interfaces with internal and external customers and provide input on process improvement initiatives where required.
Education and Experience:
BSc or MSc in Mathematics, Statistics or Computer Science or equivalent and significant experience using SAS in the analysis and reporting of pharmaceutical data, working knowledge and expertise in SAS (including SAS Macro), working knowledge of database design/structures, good understanding of regulatory requirements (GCP, ICH). You must be fluent in oral and written English. German language skills would be advantageous although not essential.
