Diagnostics Technical Support Specialist - Sussex

Are you an experienced Molecular Biologist?
Do you speak multiple European languages?
Working for a global leader in molecular diagnostics you will provide prompt, professional and accurate technical support using the telephone and e-mail to customers in their respective markets for all of company products and services.
Occasional travel to visit customers in support of the sales and field service organisations will also be required. This role is also responsible for creating and maintaining accurate customer and technical information on a central database.
You will manage key customer accounts, develop relationships, advise and sell (where appropriate) to customer needs, passing on sales leads and opportunities where possible. You will be responsible for handling customers technical queries right from the initial query through to the final solution, providing advice which ensures customer satisfaction at the highest level. Fostering excellent communication between all technical support teams worldwide and between departments to ensure best service standards. To ensure effective communication in the technical team, across business units and to maintain and develop relationships with key customers.
To be considered, you MUST be fluent in English and at least 2 additional European languages, including German, Italian, Dutch, Swedish or Danish.
* You must have a PhD (or equivalent research laboratory experience) in Molecular Biology or a related subject.
* You'll need broad knowledge of molecular biology and related molecular diagnostic techniques.
* Customer Service and / or sales experience is desirable.
* Excellent telephone and written skills are essential
