A global CRO with over 9000 employees across the world are looking for programmers and senior programmers to join their statistical programming group on a permanent basis. They are a specialist in delivering a high quality service in clinical developments and technologies and strive to be the number one provider across the world using their knowledge, leading expertise and continued success.
There are several opportunities available in locations across the UK and they will also consider a candidate to be field based with occasional travel to the office.
As a Statistical Programmer you will be involved in tables and listings of clinical data. You will ensure all system applications and changes meet corporate quality standards and regulations including ICH and GCP. You will also derive dataset and programming specifications and be involved in medium to complex programming tasks.
At a senior programming level you will be responsible for project management of the data management team, coordinating and leading projects to meet strict deadlines. You will also be involved in budgetary requirements and project resourcing.
A successful candidate will have
· A minimum of an BSc, or equivalent, in a relative degree subject
· A strong background working within industry, either in a pharmaceutical company or Contract Research Organisation (CRO).
· Experience of SAS programming within a clinical trials environment is essential
· Knowledge of EDC systems (Rave, Inform) is desirable
· Proven project management experience is necessary for the senior programming position
· Excellent communication skills at all levels
