A global CRO with over 9000 employees across the world are looking for a Senior Statistical Scientist to join their statistical programming group on a permanent basis. They are a specialist in delivering a high quality service in clinical developments and technologies and strive to be the number one provider across the world using their knowledge, leading expertise and continued success.
There are several opportunities available in locations including the UK and mainland Europe.
As a Senior Statistical Scientist you will act as the lead in statistics and clinical programming. As an expert you will be a key function in the direction of statistical analysis and will be involved in statistical programming and specifications. The role is client facing and will require presentations and regular attendance at client meetings acting as a representative for the company. You will also write statistical reports and ensure they meet the regulatory guidelines. This position will allow for management of staff and performance along with professional development.
A successful candidate will have
· A minimum of a PhD, or equivalent, in Medical Statistics/Biostatistics
· A strong background working within industry, either in a pharmaceutical company or Contract Research Organisation (CRO).
· Extensive experience in SAS programming
· Knowledge of EDC systems and e-submissions
· Familiar with Bayesian statistics
· Excellent communication skills at all levels
