One of the worlds leading organizations in consumer diagnostics who rapidly design, develop, test and transfer to production womans health testing kits, are looking for a Statistician to join their organization on a permanent basis. You will be part of a small growing team acting as a statistical consultant to various areas within the company including research and development and clinical affairs. Working with well known, over the counter products you will be committed to delivering the needs of the customers whilst developing new inventive ideas.
As a Statistician you will be responsible for all statistical analysis and planning within projects and will ensure deadlines and customer requirements are met. You will review and advise on study protocols, deliverables and trial design and be a main point of contact for statistical enquires. In addition, you will develop a strong understanding of the products and use your knowledge so as to improve quality and efficiency to achieve objectives. Working to current regulations and guidelines is essential.
To be a successful applicant in this position you will need to have a minimum of a MSc in medical statistics or the equivalent. A strong background within consumer diagnostics or pharmaceutical industry would be advantageous with a broad knowledge of statistics essential. SAS programming skills are also desirable with the ability to write professional reports. Good communication skills are necessary as you will be required to perform presentations to internal and external contacts.
