Satellite Win Award from Global Leader in SAS Programming

The SAS Institute recently recognised a team of six from Satellite for their successful achievement in BASE SAS certification at the inaugural SAS Professionals Convention held in July.

The team were individually awarded a certificate plus £5,000 worth of SAS training each at the recent three day event held at the SAS headquarters in Marlow, Buckinghamshire. These significant training awards can be be used for future SAS professional courses of their choice.

To be eligible for the awards the team had to take part and satisfactorily complete all the online training revision sessions as well as successfully passing the exams. The team came out top against three other teams from different commercial organisations.

Aimed at technical and analytical specialists, the SAS Professionals Convention has been introduced to give guidance and advice to technical and analytical specialists on how they can advance their career as a SAS expert, allowing attendees to learn about the latest SAS technologies and solutions, develop their career and network with other SAS Professionals.

Satellite provides niche clinical outsourcing services and they are one of a number of specialist brands of SRG, the UK’s leading recruitment specialist for the scientific, engineering and clinical sectors in the UK and Europe. SRG were instrumental in the development of the SAS Life Sciences Academy, a collaboration with SAS to train individuals in SAS Programming within the pharmaceutical industry. This award winning Academy continues to run courses to increase the level of workers available within the clinical marketplace with these specialist skills.
